Car 2 is a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe four door utility wagon with a 5.2 liter gasoline powered engine and Chevrolet automatic transmission. Click on Photo for full Size image.
Car 2 is the Deputy Fire Chief's Command Car. It carries medical equipment, including a defibrillator, water rescue equipment, and some firefighting equipment. It also has communications equipment to communicate with all other area fire departments.
This vehicle was purchased as a part of the Capital Improvement Program in August of 2000. Initial cost was $30,000.00 plus about $5,000.00 for emergency warning systems, radios and lettering.
Replacement cost for this vehicle would be about $35,000.00 (Photo by Rob Reardon)
